In Case of a Traffic Insurance Incident:
When an incident occurs:
- Immediately call 102 to inform the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA)/Traffic Police and invite them to the scene.
- If there are injured persons, call 103 (Ambulance), 112 (Ministry of Emergency Situations), and other relevant authorities to save lives.
Informing the insurance company:
- Notify the vehicle's mandatory insurance provider immediately after the incident.
- The hotline numbers of the insurance company can be found in the insurance certificate. If you do not know the numbers, use the 9707 SMS service.
- To find out whether the liable vehicle is insured and which company provides the insurance, send the vehicle's license plate number to the short number 9707.
Do not leave the scene:
- Keep the damaged property in its original condition and present it to the insurance company (or its representative). Moving the property is only allowed in the following cases:
- To prevent further damage or reduce losses.
- To avoid obstructing the movement of others.
- If the insurance company does not inspect the property within 5 days after being informed.
- With the written consent of the insurance company.
Submitting the insurance claim:
- Within 3 business days of notifying the insurance company verbally, request the claim form from them.
- Complete the form and submit it to the insurance company immediately.
