Usage Guide for the 9707 SMS Service

The 9707 SMS service is provided by the Compulsory Insurance Bureau to verify the existence of a compulsory motor insurance policy.

1. Verification by vehicle's license plate:

   • Send an SMS to 9707 with the vehicle's license plate number (e.g., 10PX806, without spaces between numbers and letters).
     • If the insurance certificate is valid: You will receive an SMS with the name of the insurance company and contact phone numbers for reporting an insurance incident.
     • If the insurance certificate is not valid: You will receive an SMS stating that the insurance certificate is invalid.

2. Verification by insurance certificate number:

   • Send an SMS to 9707 with the insurance certificate number (e.g., PPA1100000001).
     • If the insurance certificate is valid: You will receive an SMS with the name of the insurance company.
     • If the insurance certificate is not valid: You will receive an SMS stating that the insurance certificate is invalid.

Note: This service allows for quick and convenient verification of the insurance policy's validity.
